Welcome to Down East Insurance Agency's website!

Over the past few years, we have seen many changes in our fine state. I recently heard on the local news that jobs are starting to "come back" to Maine, and that does not surprise me. Why? Because I believe that this is the best state to live, raise a family and of course, work in.

Down East Insurance Agency was established in 2002 and is solely owned by Down East Credit Union. Being part of the Down East family is exciting for us at Down East Insurance, as it affords us the opportunity to provide some of our products to the members of the credit union at reduced rates, and at the same time maintain our independent status in the insurance industry.

Our main goal is to serve you, our neighbors, well. We represent some of the finest and most competitive insurance companies that Maine has to offer. Our extremely knowledgeable, licensed agents will meet your insurance needs at any one of our three locations: Baileyville, Bowdoinham, or Machias. In the near future Down East Insurance Agency will serve you from the heart of the Mid-Coast region to the beauty of Down East Maine.

On a personal note, I came to work for Down East Insurance Agency in 2007. We share a common vision of helping Maine families and businesses prosper. We know to be competitive and offer you great service we must keep up with the ever-changing demands of the insurance industry. 2008 will be an exciting year for our partners and us. Some of you may know me from past endeavors, and for some I may be a new face. Either way, I would love to hear from you. The Down East Insurance Agency family is here to serve you and your family.
